A covered, heated terrace right by the sea. Glass walls, string lights and heaters make it a favourite for Christmas parties and autumn nights.

Open sky, shipyard cranes and the sea on the horizon. In the summer season the rooftop is one of the best spots in town for sunsets, wine & paint nights and summer parties.

A heated glass terrace with string lights, a grand hall with a dance floor, a DJ and catering. From a small team to the whole house. November and December weekends are usually the first to go.

A relaxed menu that works for an afterwork as well as before a big night. Vegan and gluten-free options included.

The kitchen is closed for the winter and opens again on 1 May 2027.

Good to know.

Do we need to book a table?
We take table bookings for groups of 12 or more, free of charge. Smaller groups are welcome without a booking.
When do we need to arrive for a booked table?
By 22:00. Dress code: smart casual.
Can we book Malja for a private event?
Yes. The heated glass terrace (100) and the grand hall (180) are in use all year: 280 guests in all. In the summer season the rooftop terrace (100) and the side terrace (80) are open as well, and the whole of Malja then takes more than 400 guests. Send us an enquiry.
Do you have vegan and gluten-free options?
Yes. The menu has vegan and gluten-free dishes, and gluten-free buns are available for every burger.
